Police operation with PowerPlex^®

The Sulzbach-Rosenberg site of the riot police is home to the Northern Bavaria vehicle equipment centre. Among other things, special modifications are carried out in and on police vehicles. The challenge is to find simple and flexible solutions for a wide range of requirements. The PowerPlex^® product portfolio proved to be particularly suitable for this purpose. PowerPlex^® offers a complete concept to connect and control on-board devices.

Thanks to the modular use of the power distribution devices, including the keypads and the free configuration of the functions, the benefits can be realised immediately. The modules  individually configurable and offer integrated overcurrent protection. This makes vehicle wiring easier and faster. 

The visual feedback via the keypads has proven particularly useful in daily use. The load status was not visible with conventional switches, the colour change now shows the respective status directly on the keypad - a clear advantage for user-friendliness.
